About The Role

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of mathematicians and making complex concepts accessible and engaging for our students?

The Portsmouth Academy is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Maths with a TLR to join our team of committed professionals on a fixed term basis until August 2027.

This is an exciting time to join the academy as we move forward with our improvement journey with a clear focus on strengthening teaching and learning and securing the best possible outcomes for our students. You will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, share expertise and play an active part in shaping the next chapter of our school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.

About You:

A qualified teacher with QTS.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
Committed to high standards and raising achievement for all students
Keen to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with young people, colleagues and families.
